Testimonials

Dear Committee

Very many thanks to you all for all your hard work over the weekend at the Fairford site. We very much appreciate your efforts under such appalling conditions, and the help we were given this morning to get our motorhome moving! As well as assistance on Thursday afternoon. The 93 miles home were trouble-free.

We have never been to RIAT before, despite being aviation enthusiasts, as we have been put off by tales of traffic problems, plus the distance being a bit too much for a day trip. Using your campsite made such a difference, and we got to enjoy two bites of the cherry by watching again on Sunday from the site, not to mention Thursday and Friday's activities. With the aid of the radio it is quite possible to enjoy the show without moving far from the 'van. The final treat was to see the Vulcan leaving this morning just before we got away.

Please especially pass on our thanks to the gentlemen who used their 4x4's to help units get on and off the site. Having read through all the e-mails that arrived after we left home, I can see that we got there just in time!

We will definitely consider another visit next year,

Dear Gloucester DA
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Stewards and everyone involved from Gloucester DA in making the RIAT meet another fantastic weekend.
We came down from Nottinghamshire DA with our friends Kev, Gaynor, Ellie and Billy Duffin, this being their first trip to RIAT and they are now totally hooked!
We look forward to seeing some of your members at our Goose Fair Meet in October and we'll be back for RIAT again next year!!
Regards Julie, Adi, Maisie and Lucy Froggett Nottinghamshire DA

Can I just say a big THANK YOU to Glos DA, especially the Stewards and all those who spent so much time and energy to make the RIAT meet such a success.
Hope to see you all next year.
Ian & Sue Robertson, Tamar DA.
